Design it yourself.
Matt (Director of Residential Design) had to create his own family home in a quiet cul-de-sac in
Cherrywood Tauranga. The result of the plans was not only a brilliant family home for a bustling
young family but it also looks good enough to feature in a magazine. A two story home was opted
for as to maximise the small site and to give the advantage of the lovely view over the Otumoetai
Golf course.
Tracy and Matt had clear ideas from the beginning that this family home needed to
incorporated 4 bedrooms plus a main bathroom and a lovely ensuite upstairs and on the ground
level there was to be an office that could be closed off to the main living areas washroom spacious
laundry, a open plan lounge and family room and kitchen .
This linear and plaster home has a seamless
flow from the main living, kitchen area to a courtyard
and then flows onto a manicured lawn.
The stacker sliders providing this excellent indoor outdoor
flow by opening up the entire corner.
Tracy and Matt liked the clean sharp lines with there design
so choose to add in splashes of colour
with graphic glass showers and kitchen splash backs.
Tracy also chose to add jet black carpet to complement the interior colours of Tea.
The finished home was everything that Tracy and Matt had wished for in their family designer home.
